Filet Mignon with Sun-Dried Tomato-Garlic Sauce

I think I can perfect this recipe a bit more. I was very rushed because it was Valentines Day and I had to make dinner in a hurry. I thought it would of tasted better, but my boyfriend LOVED it. I will make this again! FYI - leave more time for the Filets to cook!

Great recipe. Added mushrooms as per a previous comment and they turned out wonderfully. Would probably reduce the steak sauce amount next time as my husband said that it overpowered the other ingredients in the sauce.

Quick and simple to make. I was always intimidated by the idea of making steak, bt this turned out wonderfully. My mother-in-law was impressed with the sauce. I cooked it a little longer so it would be well done but it was still moist. I don't even like steak but I loved this dish. I served it with roasted potatoes in ranch and cheese sauce along with slowed cooked green beans. The dinner was a feast for the eyes and taste buds.

Delicious & easy. My family loved it. I am sure you could use the sun-dried tomato-garlic sauce with just about any type of meat.

Good with any steak. I added fresh mushrooms but sauted them first then added them to the sun-dried tomatoes later.

I made this last nite. I did not use filet mignon though. It was deeeelicioussss!!!!

It was very easy to make and it tasted delicious. We are used to just having a simple, plain steak with no frills, so it was nice to try something different and a little more fancy. We even saved the leftover sauce for future meals; it can be used with any type of meat I think.

The taste & quality of the filet are unmatched! I prepared this recipe again & again in less than a few weeks during the holidays! I agree that this recipe is pricey but we took advantage that it was on sale and purchased the meat in bulk and stored it. We will be preparing it again for New Year's Day for our guests. I prepare it exactly as the recipe states. I butterfly the filets because they are really, really thick. The recipe itself isn't complicated and gives the A1 sauce a more gourmet twist! LOVE IT.

The meat was pricey, but the recipe totally made up for it. Definite worth it and will cook again!
