Are you people using rgular mustard or dry mustard? Please try dry mustard.

Made this for company-they loved, loved it and asked for the recipe. I cut back on the flour and used one bullion cube to one half cup of water instead of one cup beef broth. Also added 2 TBS dry red wine and browned up the beef a little. It was delicious.

This was a pretty good stroganoff recipe. And I love the idea of putting everything in and leaving it. I made a few modifications. Instead of beef-stew meat, I used a package of frozen meatballs. Also, instead of beef broth, I added two cups of water with two packages of brown gravy mix. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was the MUSTARD! I should have known, since I'm not a huge mustard fan. It added a strange zippy flavor that I didn't like.

My kids can be pretty picky eaters and I didn't expect them to like this at all...but they LOVED it. They even asked for it again the next night at dinner. I will absolutely be making this again.

Was good but next time I will leave out the mustard.

Family loved it. Have a very picky husband so left out the onions, mushrooms, garlic and mustard. Just seasoned the stew meat with a onion seasoning mix for a flavor.

Easy to prep and quite tasty. I used low fat sour cream...would have been thicker if I used real I'm sure...but good regardless. I also used low fat low salt beef broth.

We not much of a mushroom fan so instead of chopping up mushrooms I added a can of cream of mushroom soup. Very tastey!
