I made this recipe when we had guests coming over. Somehow, the sauce never thickened and it ran all over our plates. It didn't have much flavor either. If anyone knows what I did wrong, please help!
This is very good and easy to prepare and cook. The cream cheese gives it a zest that I would not have thought of. We really enjoyed it served with a green salad, but it would be great alone.
Very easy to make & quite delicious! I doubled the recipe since I have a large crock pot & there was plenty for leftovers! I didn't brown the meat first as another rater did, & it wasn't necessary. Served over noodles it was heavenly!
I thought this was delicious and so did my visitors. I did flour the beef first before I browned it, only spraying crockpot with Pam spray. I served it on mashed potatoes and added about 1/3 cup sour cream, since I had some on hand. I think it could have even used some more mushrooms. It was great warmed up as leftovers, too. I would definitely make it again.
This was a pretty good twist on stroganoff. Easy to make and a good flavor. (My husband enjoyed it and he doesn't care for stroganoff) My only real complaint is that it didn't make as much as i would have hoped (I wanted there to be leftovers) but there was plenty for my family's dinner.
I Tried this recipe and it was superb. I made it 3 times everybody loves it. VERY GOOD.
My family loved it, and I have 3 picky boys. The only trouble I had was when I doubled the recipe it didn't thicken very well so I just added some corn starch and it was fine. I would definately recommend for an easy tasty dinner.
My family really enjoyed this dinner. I have a picky teenager and he like it. My husband liked it and said that it was good with adding the cream cheese. The next time I made it I didn't put the cream cheese in, but they added sour cream. Will definitely make this again and again!
Making this again tonight! Did not add mushrooms or onion and did not need to thicken , it was great. We were a little worried about the cream cheese but it was fantastic. Will be making this on a regular basis!
I adjusted the recipe after reading other ratings. I added 2Tbsp of flour to the beef broth before adding to crockpot. This helped thicken the broth as it cooked. Good flavor!
