Slow-Cooker Saucy Meatballs

Slow-Cooker Saucy Meatballs recipe
One fan told us, "This is my go-to recipe for spaghetti and meatballs!" What makes them so flavorful? A stretch in the slow-cooker with all that sauce.

This recipe is great. I made it for the superbowl this weekend and got rave reviews! Everyone who tried it loved it. I am a bachelor and this is a very easy recipe to make. I will most def. make it again!

This was an easy and great recipe! I prepared the meatballs the night before and put them in the slow cooker in the morning. I spiced up the sauce, like I would my regular spaghetti sauce. Next time, I will add onions. The meatballs held their shape (I was surprised!) and had a delicious flavor. I think using ground turkey would be a great lower-calorie alternative.

good, but needed more seasoning in the sauce. sauce also got a little thicker than what i like for spaghetti

I was a little leary about putting raw ground meat in the crock pot too, but it cooked thoroughly and tasted amazing! I actually put the meatballs in by themselves on high for about an hour. Then I covered with the sauce and turned to low for about 4 more hours. The meatballs didn't fall apart at all...and they were really good! (Defiitely better than the frozen kind!)

Easy recipe! I put all the veggies on the bottom and the meatballs on top. I gently stirred it when it was done and none of them fell apart. My family loved it!

I'm not one to slow cook raw ground meat, so I cooked my meatballs almost done in a large iron skillet w/olive oil first before adding to crock pot.

This sounds like a great recipe and i read some of the comments and it got very mixed reviews. I would have to do a lot of label reading in order to make this recipe for my husband and I because he is on a very low sodium diet.

The meatballs stayed together okay, but they were very mushy. I think the stuffing made them mushy. They had a nice flavor, but way too moist and mushy. I won't make this again.

My meatballs also fell apart. We were not impressed with recipe the first night but leftovers the next day tasted alot better. Not one of my favorites.

I used ground turkey (Ital flavor) instead of beef, and used whole-wheat breadcrumbs instead of the stuffing mix. The meatballs held together fine. The mushrooms and peppers added great flavor. I will definitely make this easy recipe again!
