I used the crock pot to make this. I used 3 red and 3 green peppers and mushroom spaghetti sauce. I also used the pepper tops and diced them up in place of the peas. And instead of Velveeta I used 1 1/2 c. mixed shredded cheese. and cooked brown rice. I used a tiny bit too much sauce. My parents were very pleased though. I think it would have tasted better if someone else made it. Why is it things just taste better when other people make them? lol

this was an easy preparation recipe. im used to the regular stuffed peppers, but this one with the BBQ gave it a diff twist. the only thing i omitted was the peas. And i also mixed in the cheese w/ all the ingredients. My sister came over for dinner and she liked it too, this is a recipe i will make again soon,

Love these! Omitted peas per the request of my hubby and replaced with the pepper tops, diced and sauteed w/onions. No cheese needed. Try adding some pineapple tidbits for a little twist!

I make this all the time. my family doesnt like peas so I omit those. It is so easy to prep and ready when we get home from work. I also have mixed the cubed velveeta in with the rice and pork instead of on top and it is good that way also.

Very good, easy to make, especially when you use a smaller slow cooker; I cut the recipe in half for two. By the way, the reviewer who said it was "too much pepper" intrigued me......they are, after all, stuffed PEPPERS!!

These stuffed peppers turned out great! I love the BBQ flavor they have. A must try recipe!

I used brown rice instead to make this a slightly healthier dish. I felt the flavor of the bell pepper took over. I wished it wouldn't have been so overwhelming.
