Slow Cooker Stuffed Peppers

This slow-cooker recipe takes just 10 minutes of prep in the morning—so you can come home to a cheesy and tender stuffed pepper dish in the evening.

What You Need

medium bell peppers

1/2

lb. ground pork

3/4

cup BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce, divided

cup instant white rice, uncooked

cup frozen peas

1/4

lb. (4 oz.) VELVEETA®, cubed

1/2

cup water

Make It

CUT tops off peppers; chop tops, then refrigerate for another use. Remove seeds from peppers; discard. Set pepper shells aside.

MIX pork, 1/2 cup of the barbecue sauce, the rice and peas; spoon evenly into pepper shells. Top evenly with VELVEETA.

POUR remaining 1/4 cup barbecue sauce into slow cooker; stir in water. Stand stuffed peppers upright in slow cooker; cover with lid. Cook 5 to 7 hours on LOW (or 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 hours on HIGH).

I made this receipe and it wasn't dry just not alot of flavor. Needed to have more sauce and tasted like it was missing some ingredient. I won't make this again.

The only thing good about this recipe was the red peppers which no matter how you make them, they taste great! HOWEVER the filling, was bland. It was very dry and there was just no flavor. I will continue my way of making stuffed peppers!

I placed the cheese on at beginning of cooking and the cheese was over cooked and tasteless Next time I will place the cheese on 30 minutes to 1 hr before cooking is finished.

This was the worse recipe I ever made. The barbecue sauce mixed with the flavor of the peppers was terrible. We could not even eat them.

This recipe is great. I made it for the superbowl this weekend and got rave reviews! Everyone who tried it loved it. I am a bachelor and this is a very easy recipe to make. I will most def. make it again!

Very Very Good!! My husband went nuts over them. Very excellent taste. I used green peppers, and they were still very good.

When I opened the crock pot the peppers were just beautiful. I used green, red and yellow peppers. However, no one in my family liked it at all. I used ground beef in place of the pork, but, I still will not make it again even using the pork. Sorry guys.
