This is such an easy recipe. It is very quick to put together, and your slow cooker does the rest. I did subsitute tomato sauce for the bbq sauce. My family really loved it. I plan on making it again and again.

I didn't like the BBQ sauce, so I tried my favorite spaghetti sauce. I used mozarella cheese, minute rice, a can of diced tomatoes, and hamburger instead of pork. My husband devoured them!!! I use all colors of the peppers for different flavors & variety. YUMMY!!!

I saw this recipe while trying to find something new and fun to make for my husband and myself. I did exactly as directions specified, but was not impressed with the turnout. There was too much going on to really enjoy them. The Bar-B-Q sauce seemed to be too much for my taste. I would suggest using the sauce you prefer instead of the one in the recipe, and not put too much. My husband will eat anything and he was't impressed. I will continue to search for new recipes, beacause there are plenty other good ones to choose from, but would not suggest this one.

This was my first time making stuffed peppers. I cooked on low in my slow-cooker for over 5 hours. The rice was hard as a rock. The pepper itself was delicious. I would not make this again. BBQ sauce taste was not that great.
