I used cheap but real steak (beef), added about half a carrot and half a some other veggies along with the onion, but otherwise followed the recipe. Makes a tasty sauce! I did not use a whole container of sour cream, that would be too much. Also, if you want to keep leftovers, instead of mixing the sour cream in just serve it on the table and store the sauce and the pasta seperately in the fridge.
