I have found when making spaghetti squash, it's better to cut the squash in half first, scrape the seeds out and put the cut side down on a plate. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave about about 10 to 15 minutes (depending on your microwave). The spaghetti squash comes out easily with a fork.

This does need seasoning. I added seasoning salt and paprika. But this dish is good and filling.

I agree with another comment. This was rather bland, I used a couple of dashes of hotsauce. It just needed a little pick up.

The squash came out a bit crunchy compared to traditional methods of steaming in the oven. In regards to flavor, the recipe was a bit bland. I ended up adding Italian Seasoning to perk it up a bit which improved the taste but I still couldn't get past the crunchy, dry texture of the squash.

Add a little garlic salt or Mrs. Dash to pep up the flavor. A great substitute for "real spaghetti"

This was an easy recipe to make, however cutting open the squash and getting the meat out proved to be a challenge with all that hot steam.
