What You Need

OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 2 cups)

1/4

cup butter or margarine, melted

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup sugar

Tbsp. flour

tsp. vanilla

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces, melted, cooled

Make It

HEAT oven to 325ºF.

LINE 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Mix cookie crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 10 min.

BEAT cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla with mixer until blended. Add chocolate; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour over crust.

BAKE 45 min. or until center is almost set. Cool completely. Refrigerate 4 hours. Use foil handles to lift cheesecake from pan before cutting into pieces. Serve topped with berries.

How to Press Crumb Mixture Into Pan To Make Crust

Use bottom of dry measuring cup to press crumb mixture onto bottom of prepared pan.

I found it easy to make. It tasted geat the first day but really started to fade in quality on the 2nd day.

I have never made a cheesecake before this because it seemed too hard. This recipe went together really easy and looked pretty when it finished baking. I took it to our OWLS (Older Wiser Lutheran Seniors) group and they loved it. One thing I would stress--it is very rich and should be cut into small squares. It's perfect for a holiday dessert or when you want to impress.

I've made this a couple of times. To make a smaller version, cut the recipe in half; this works pretty well in a 8 in square dish. I melted a 12 oz bag of dark chocolate chips to put in it. The dark chocolate and the cream cheese are really good together.

This was deee-lish! I brought it to a party and it was G-O-N-E! It makes a great presentation when served on a platter in small sqaures - a small sqaure is enough because it's so smooth and rich. Or maybe two small squares would be enough...or four...

I think the lighting and presentation is just superb...it brings out the richness and makes me wanna try baking it.
