My family enjoyed this pie. I did change it a bit. I used one banana and one vanilla pudding, then added 1/2 of a 12oz tub of cool whip. I put the bananas on the bottom, 1/2 the pudding mixture, more bananas then the rest of the pudding mixture. Then before serving I put the rest of the cool whip on top and garnished with bananas.

Excellent pie but my only complaint is that is says it's "banana cream" but the only banana ingredient is the one banana. I used one vanilla pudding and one banana pudding flavor instead of the 2 vanilla pudding mixes the recipe called for. Also, store did not carry French Vanilla Cool Whip and regular Cool Whip worked just fine. Nice and creamy pie!

All in all, a decent recipe. I added a layer of chocolate to the bottom for an extra kick. The bananas didn't sit well overnight so they tasted strange with the pie. Probably best to eat right away. Very rich - but great for a sweet tooth.

This was great!!! EASY!! A nice presentation! The whole family enjoyed it and I have 4 boys, all with differant taste! It's a keeper. I did add more bananas, and I do recommend this recipe!

Very Good!!! I didnt add the caramel however..and instead of using vanilla pie filling...i used banana flavored filling........delicious!

I would omit the caramel next time. It didn't make any difference in the flavor. Also, I'll try puting the bananas in the middle layer instead of the bottom so they can be enjoyed more.
