My mother made the best stuffed cabbage, but it took a long, messy afternoon to boil the cabbage, put everything together, and hope that the rolls didn't open. This is so much easier, and with a few additions, takes me back to my childhood. I added a can of drained saurkraut to this recipe, and also made the meat 3/4 lb of ground beef and 1/4 lb ground pork. Wonderful!
