I've decided, I don't care for gorgonzola. But it was pretty good, I do think the prep time is longer then suggested, and I had to use about every pan in my house. But it was ok, my son liked it my daughter didn't, I will make again with a different cheese.
This recipe took a lot longer than stated, perhaps i wasn't prepared enough. It was certainly worth the effort! My family loved it and so did i. Will make it again, and will add some extra fresh spinach just for nutritional sake.
I thought it was great. So did all my children and husband. I would make it again.
Everything in this dish was great, but as a whole, I think it was too much. There were too many ingredients for you to enjoy the flavors of each one. I enjoyed it, but I don't think I would make it again.
Very good and rich tasting. I nice change from your normal pasta dishes. I doubled the recipe for 4 people and only had a small portion left over. I added a little flour to help thicken. Will definately make again.
This recipe is absolutely delicious!!! It is so easy to make and so tasty! I have made it many times and I have loved it every time!
Lacked flavor, in my opinion. However I substituted fresh mozzarella for the gorgonzola cheese because of personal preference so that might be why it was very mild. I must note that the apperance of the dish was very pleasing to the eye.
Loved this recipe! Three recommendations: 1. Use Penne Rigate, to hold more sauce on the pasta. 2. Don't cook the pasta fully, half way is enough to make sure it's Aldente by the time the meal is done. 3. After cooking the onions, start on the sauce first (chicken stock & cream) before adding anything to the pan, that way it can thicken up some. I'm not a cheese lover so I made it without the cheese.
You must like the strong taste of gorgonzola cheese to like this recipe. My whole family loved it! I've sent the recipe to several friends.
It had way too much liquid. It smelled funny. I don't like gorgonzola. I will not make it again.
