I wouldn't call this cheese cake. I would call it Vanilla Cheesecake Pudding Pie. I didn't have a spring-form pan so I put it in a pie pan. There was enough filling to make 2 pies. I took them to a Halloween party and I won the pie making contest! Both pies were gone in a flash! Tip: Cut your bats first. That way if they crumble you can use them in the crust and you still have oreos left to try and make your bats with.

HI!THE FIRST REASONTHAT I WOULDN,T IS MY BEST FRIENDS BABY. I WAS WATCHING HER FOR 5 MIN. I HAD 2 SLICES READY FOR MY FRIENDAND I.THE TODDLER WAS REACHING FOR THE CAKE AND FUSSING. SO I LET HER TRY A BITE OF MINE ,SHE OPENED WIDE AND I GAVE HER A BITE.MISTAKE! SHE GAVE IT BACK TO MEBY SPITTING IT AT ME WITH A HUGE SPLATTER ON IMPORTED SILK.TINA CAME IN 2 SECONDS LATER.I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD AND THE SWEETIE STARED AT ME LIKE I WAS NUTS,IT WAS FUNNY. TINA SAID ,I'LL FEED HER,SHE IS USED TO ME.WRONG!SHE TRY AGAIN,NO WAY.THEN TINA ASKED WHAT IT WAS,I TOLD HER AND SHE COULDN'T WAIT FOR HER TRY,SO DID I.WE THOUGHT IT LOOKED GOOD,ALSO SMELLED GOOD,WE TRIED IT.WE ATE ALL OF OURS AND A FEW MINUTES LATER ,HER 2 OLDER KIDS CAME RUNNING IN,LOOKED AT THE CAKE AND YELLED WOW .THEY HAD THIERS AND MOST OF THE REST. I REALLY DON' T THINK THERE IS ANY BAD ABOUT THIS CAKE AT ALL. YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE. THIS IS ON THE NOSE FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES,EVEN PICKY TEENS LIKE IT. A

I made this recipe for a meeting at school. The gals raved about it so much they all want the recipe. I did alter the recipe a bit. I crushed the whole Oreo Cookie for the crust which gave the crust an orange swirl look. I did not increase the butter because the orange cream center of the cookie along with the butter was enough to hold the cookie crust form in the pan. I used french vanilla pudding instead of plain vanilla. The french vanilla pudding gave the recipe a richer flavor and enough yellowish color eliminating the need to use any yellow food coloring. This is a recipe I will definitely make again. It was wonderful, easy and impressive. I may even make it for the holidays using holiday Oreo's and using another flavor of pudding. The possibilities of colors and flavors for this recipe, for any season or holiday, are endless.

I made this for my Biology Honors class. It was sooo good, I must admit! But the filling wasn't exactly hard, it felt more like custard.

I made this for a dinner party and all that was left were a few crumbs....I have given all the ladies the recipe...It was one of the best desserts I have ever made and eaten....I used the regular oreo's and instead of the Halloween decorations, I just used some of the oreo crumbs on the top of the pie....It was such a hit...
