My son and I made these cookies. They are a very easy cookie to make and fun to decorate! Great cooking project to try with the kids!!!

Very good and not too spicy for children, although I received several compliments from adults. I sprinkled with course sugar before cooking. It makes a great cookie for dunking in tea or coffee. This is a keeper.

I made these cookies last year for a kid's Christmas party. I took the cookes plain with plenty of things for the kids to decorate their own cookies. It was a big hit! Even kids who don't normally like gingerbread because of the strong flavor loved these cookies. I will be making these again this year for our family as well as some larger ones decorated and with the kid's name on them to give as gifts to my son's preschool friends.

I love making gingerbread cookies every year and wanted to make an easy batch for my 3 year old. This was pretty tasteless although my daughter enjoyed cutting the cookies out and decorating them. We didn't eat them but used them to decorate the tree.

This recipe isn't as "spicy" as the old fashioned recipe that has been handed down through the generations. That is exactly the appeal because it is more mellow in flavor. My kids like this one much better. The dough is also of a good consistancy for rolling out.

I've never had gingerbread cookies before these. My family doesn't care for ginger so I left it out, and they loved these cookies. They were the first ones gone last Christmas.

It's hard to find flavorful gingerbread cookie recipes. THIS ONE IS IT! I was so pleased to have finally found a traditional tasting recipe that doesn't take half a day to make. Wonderful in every way!
