I loved this recipe! It was so much easier than a traditional gingerbread cookie recipe I have used before and I enjoyed the softer cookies! I think it will be easy to make this sugar-free for my family that needs to be careful of sugar consumption! Thanks!

I did noy read the rating and found it the devil to work with. Too dry, now after reading comment on using 2 eggs it might be better. they were good tasting.

You need to add some extra water to this recipe, because the dough is very dry. Other than that, the cookies came out great!

I think the amount of flour needs to be reduced, I made this and it was very hard to work with, heads arms & legs kept breaking off.

I have made this recipe two years in a row, and needed to use 2 large eggs in order not to have the dough too dry. Very good tasting and easy to roll and cut out!

I have made this recipe for years and always enjoy it at the holidays. The cookies are soft and have a nice mild flavor unlike gingerbread.

A very nice change from the regular Ginger bread cookies, softer and a nice butterscotch flavor. My family and Friends love them. Also did well in our Library Cookie Christmas sale.

The dough was very dry and hard to handle. I added water but then it was too sticky so I gave up and just rolled them into 1 inch balls and rolled them in sugar and flattened with a fork. They taste okay, but they don't taste like gingerbread any more than I do. Maybe they should be called butterscotch cookies instead.

The dough was dry after refridgeration, had to add water, otherwise easy to make
