I made this using canned pumpkin pie mix instead of the plain pumpkin and served it warm with caramel ice cream. my family said it was one of the best things i've ever made! and it was so easy!

The recipe needs Pumpkin Pie Filling not just canned pumpkin. It does not have enough spices in it as the original recipe states.

This is a great recipe! I use egg bread and I serve it with heavy cream whipped with powdered sugar and cinnamon added to taste along with the carmel sause.

We like this dish very much - prefer it cool over warm though. It is good even without the caramel sauce!

I also added more milk, used plain bread and added raisin's. I made my own caramel sauce and drizzled it over the pudding after taking it from the oven. Everyone loved it!!

This was sooo good! I halved the recipe quite successfully for my small family. I used plain bread and added raisins and pumpkin pie spice in the custard mixture. It didn't look as custardy as I usually like, so I added a bit of extra milk and it turned out perfectly. Mini chocolate chips instead of raisins next time, maybe?

Ohmigosh is this good!!! I used low fat/ fat free when possible and it was amazing!!! I found that you almost have to use a full loaf of bread when making it in a 13x9 pan though. I made this with the Pasta with Creamy Pumpkin sauce for a pumpkin themed night. It was amazing!!!
