This cake is delicious! I whipped it up in about 10 mins (I used canned pumpking). The icing is also super quick and easy to make, and oh so yummy! I am making 2 of these cakes for Thanksgiving, and I am sure they will be a hit! Try this, you won't be sorry!
I tried making this for the first time and it was very easy and quick to put together. I made 2 dozen cupcakes and made a cream cheese icing and the flavor was perfect. The only thing I am unsure about is that my cupcakes came out a little overcooked, and I followed the times recommended...have an electric oven and may need to adjust the times. We loved this recipe though and we will definitely make again next holiday season!
Making it now - it's in the oven. Very easy to put together - I used canned pumpkin filling instead of fresh. It smells good!
I dont usually do a lot of baking but tried this recipe. It was easy, quick, and delicious! It made 24 cupcakes. I would definately suggest this recipe.
I made cupcakes with this recipe which made 2 dozen. I made the cream cheese frosting which was easy, tinting it orange with food coloring. I had a can of pumpkin (no spices) & used that instead of fresh. I brought it to a Halloween party & 5 people asked for the recipe which I gladly gave them today. Another easy and delicious recipe I will make again & again!
I used cheese cake instant pudding instead of vanilla and it had more flavor. I use this recipe for cupcakes and dye the icing orange at Halloween for the kids.
i'm seriously considering to make this - it looks soooo SINFUL! unfortunatly, a bit too sinful for my diet plan...ha ha, but that's where i come in - 4 ALL U DIETERS/JUNKIES/MOMS WITH KIDS - sub LF butter(Blue Bonnet 4 Baking is good) 4 about 1/3 of oil and unsweetened applesuace 4 rest, egg sub, sugerfree pudding, and LF Blue Bonnet for Baking butter with FF cream cheese 4 the icing! trust me...THIS MAKES AN OUT OF THE WORLD CAKE!!!
I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. Tip: fresh pumpkin is easily steamed in the microwave by slicing it and covering it with plastic wrap for 7 minutes give or take. Test it with a fork and becareful of the steam.
I found this recipe on the Kraft Foods website two years ago and since then have made it about a half a dozen times. It is easy to put together and makes one of the moistest cakes I've ever eaten. It has become a family favorite during the holidays.
I made this recipe for my family & they loved it...I will definitely make it again & it was so easy..
