subsituted powdered egg whites; also use LARGE bowl. Very easy to make. I used less than a package of the jello on top.

Excellent recipe!! I ended up having to make a second batch the next day because my daughter loved making them so much! Very simple and easy to do. Kid friendly recipe. We substituted colored sugar for the topping on half the recipe. It worked great using silcone baking mats too. Using a piping bag or a plastic bag ( such as a ziploc) with the corner cut off to pipe the meringues onto the baking sheet saved time and made pretty points on the cookie. Excellent Christmas cookie gift!!

i made them once and used sugar-free jello (just as good, would never know the difference) and they came out sticky, i had to let them dry out better the second time and they came out great i increased the time to 70 minutes and some of them broke in half but i don't think anyone cares they were delicous and great! A very quick, neat, & easy recipe to make! Clean up is easy too!

The first time I made these, I followed the recipe instructions. My cookies weren't as crisp as I had anticipated. The second time, I baked them for 90 minutes and they turned out perfect! Increase your baking time and you'll have fabulous meringue cookies!
