Zesty Hot Holiday Broccoli Dip

Zesty Hot Holiday Broccoli Dip recipe
This creamy dip features pimentos, broccoli and two kinds of cheese—and is still a smart choice. So warm and tasty, even the crackers can't wait to dip in.

It was delicious although not so "zesty" and I did replace the Miracle Whip with lite mayo.

I've made this several times for friends and we all love it. I used fresh broccoli heads, about 4 cups, chopped them small, boiled them with chopped red pepper instead of pimentos, for 5 minutes.I also used about half the Parmesan cheese and lite mayo instead of Miracle Whip.

I added chopped green chiles to the recipe and used shredded Romano cheese instead of the Parmesan. Our guests thought it was good. I would agree with another reviewer that "zesty" is probably not a good adjective to describe this recipe.

NO ONE liked this dip.we used crackers you suggested & they were too sweet we found cooking it again via the microwave & using TRISCUITS it made it more bearable!I made TWO batches of this and can’t get anyone to take the other one off my hands!

Very easy but very bland. Family did not like it at all and either did I. Did try to season it up a bit, but that did not help. posted by pam

I thought this was very good but some of my guests weren't impressed.

When you bake, just make sure not to leave it in the oven for too long, or else it will get dried out.

Not sure where the name "zesty" comes from because this is VERY bland. It might be helpped by a pepper jack cheese and some chopped water chestnuts, or it might just be hopeless!

I used real mayonnaise instead of Miracle Whip. I also used green chiles instead of pimentos. Used a crock pot so it would stay warm. Easy and good for parties

Probably use another dressing, the whip dressing was a little sour, like mayonnaise.
