What You Need

pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

1-2/3

cups hot water

1/4

cup butter or margarine

pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, well drained and patted dry

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

cup chopped fresh mushrooms

small onion, finely chopped

eggs

Make It

HEAT oven to 400ºF.

MIX stuffing mix, hot water and butter in large bowl until blended.

ADD remaining ingredients; mix lightly. Shape into 60 (1-inch) balls. Place in single layer on 2 rimmed baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 15 to 20 min. or until lightly browned.

Make Ahead

Prepare and bake spinach balls as directed; cool completely. Place in freezer-weight resealable plastic bags; freeze up to 3 months. When ready to serve, thaw in refrigerator. Place on baking sheets and bake in 400°F oven 10 to 15 min. or until heated through.

It was a great success! EVERY one of the balls was eaten! I made it for thanksgiving too!

Ok I tried the italian sausage and also made it with pepperjack cheese. I just used one box of spinach. OMG can you say WOW?! These were scarfed up fast :)

I hated draining the spinach - but people devoured them at the party that I went to!

Really good - I made these for Christmas at the in-laws' last year and they went over fairly well. I couldn't stop snacking on them as I made them! Only drawback is that they seemed to get kind of soggy and not so appealing as they sat - stuck them back in the oven a time or two to "re-crisp" them. Also couldn't find the Monterey stuffing mix, so used Cornbread instead. Yummy appetizer, though!

Everyone at my job liked them as well! I thought there was a bit of an after-taste so maybe some kind of dipping sauce would be good. Some of the other suggestions sound delicious such as use in stuffed mushrooms or add bacon bits.

My family loved these so much that I had to make them 2 nights in a row by request! They're really good!

This is a hit recipe!!! Everyone loves these. There are never leftovers! A little time consuming, but the result is worth it!
