I served this for easter and it received rave reviews. It is very tasty - creamy with a hint of lemon. I did not put the strawberry cool whip on top. Instead, I topped it with fresh strawberries.
This was enjoyed by everyone at Easter dinner. I couldn't find the strawberry Cool Whip, so I just added red food color and strawberry extract to the plain Cool Whip and it worked great. Will definetly make it again.
The top of my cheesecake did not come out nice and smooth, and browned too much, but that is probably my ovens fault. This is my first time making this type of cheesecake, and although it came out just fine, I thought it was alot of work for the end result. I guess I prefer simpler recipes.
Delicious and easy! Nice lemony touch for spring. I added strawberries, blackberries and blueberries on top of the strawberry cool whip instead of the white chocolate curls. It was "the hit" of my Easter desserts!
I made this cheesecake for the first time for Easter! Wow! What a hit it was. I wasn't able to purchase the flavoed cool whip so I bought the plain and just before serving I added fresh lemon zest to the cool whip for a little zip. Perfect. Will definately make again. It's a keeper.
I made this cheesecake for Sunday dinner and it got rave reviews. It's smooth and creamy and very easy to make. Delicious!
My family's not big on lemmony desserts so I changed around the recipe. I used white chocolate pudding in the base and when the cake had cooled, I drizzled "melted" rasberry presserves over the top. Incredible!! I've made it many times now and it never fails to please.
