What You Need

1-3/4

cups flour

cup PLANTERS Chopped Pecans

3/4

cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter, softened

1/2

cup powdered sugar

tsp. water

1/2

tsp. vanilla

1/4

tsp. salt

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

oz. BAKER'S White Chocolate, coarsely grated

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F. Combine flour and pecans; set aside. Mix butter and sugar until well blended. Add water, vanilla and salt; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, stirring until well blended after each addition. Shape into 1-inch balls; place on ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE 20 min. or until edges are golden brown. Cool on wire racks.

MELT semi-sweet chocolate as directed on package. Dip each cookie halfway into melted chocolate, then press top lightly into grated white chocolate to create a snowy appearance. Let stand until set.

These cookies are extermely easy to make and taste delicious! I was surprised by how soft the cookie was. I too did not get four dozen (I only made out with 2 dozen) but it's probably because I made them too large. Great addition to your Christmas cookies!

I was just reading other comments on this cookie. For those of you who could not get four dozen cookies, I got 5 dozen. They are a very small cookie! As I said in my first review of this recipe, this is a great "coffee" cookie. The recipe is super easy to make and the time noted on the recipe is right on.

What a great presentation for a neighbors holiday party! They were easy and fun to make and they tasted great! I added walnuts along with the pecans...I was surprised how well they turned out and how fast they were gone!

The cookies are very elegant. They are a perfect gift. They are flavorful, with the pecans, and not too sweet, but sweet enough.

Sorry folks, but I made this recipe last year and the dough recipe I followed to a "T" and the cookies came out flat - I HAD TO THROW AWAY THE COOKIES. THEY COULD NOT RETAIN THEIR SHAPE. I think the recipe is either missing an ingredient...,,, Definitely was not my oven because I made the batch twice. Signed, Disappointed Baker

This is a simple and quick recipe. The cookies are delicious and were a BIG hit at the cookie exchange last year. I used green and red sprinkles. Once I got started the recipe flowed very nicely.

Very tasty cookie however the calory, fat and cholesterol contents are way too high to eat guilt free.

These cookies were great! They look really sweet but when you taste them, they aren't too sweet so it is hard to not eat several.
