Cheesy Green Bean Casserole

Cheesy Green Bean Casserole recipe
The green bean casserole just upped the ante. You'll love this stuffing-and-cheese-studded version so much, you'll be creating holidays just to have an excuse to make it.

Not a fan of green bean casseroles but my family is. This one was not bad at all. I would melt the Velvetta next time since it stayed in chunks. Will make again.

Very easy to make. My friend said it was the best green bean casserole she had ever had!

....slice the cheese rather than cubed...it melts more evenly. Also, it doesn't say whether or not you cover it. I kept it uncovered and it turned out great!

I had trouble getting the cheese to melt, so I upped the temperature to 400. That did the trick. O

Very good and very easy to make, my only suggestion is to make it an rectangular dish and not a circular one because everything barely fit in my corning-ware dish!

I loved it and my family loved it even more! They all agreed that it's a great spin on a regular green bean casserole!

What do you do with the cubed cheese??

The addition of the stuffing makes this a more substantial version of the traditional green bean casserole. I prefer to use cream of chicken soup rather than the mushroom soup -- nicer color and more acceptable to family members who don't care for mushrooms.

Most excellent green bean casserole ever!! I made this Christmas Eve for the family dinner of approx 20 people. Everyone loved it! My honey who doesn't like the french cut green beans..loved it. I've since made it again for the two of us. Leftovers are just as tasty. He will even eat the green beans by themself now with or without seasoning. I'd recommend this to everyone!!
