Great with the stuffing on top. Grated some cheddar cheese too and it was yummy. One prob: very watery!! What did this? Kinda took away from the dish :(

It was quick and easy to make. Even when made up ahead ahead of time and heated up just before serving the flavor and tastiness was excellent. The leftovers also retain the same great taste days later and even after being frozen.

Cayla, Thanksgiving is at my house every year. My family wanted a break from the traditional recipe and yours was the perfect answer. I made it the night before and I used a can of cream of chicken and mushroom soup in place of straight cream of mushroom soup and it was fantastic! It brought out the flavor of the stuffing even more. Thanks for sharing this with us. It was a hit and a definite do again.

I had not considered myself a fan of green bean casseroles but Cayla's recipe has caused me to take a new position on the meal. This was a big hit for Thanksgiving dinner at my home. Thank you Cayla!

I made this last year for Thanksgiving and for Christmas. I am making it again for Thanksgiving. I was always a fan of classic green bean casserole, but this is so much better with the stuffing in place of the french onions. The cheese adds such a creamy touch.
