My picky eaters loved this. This is the only mac and cheese I have gotten them to eat that wasn't out of a box! I did look at others reviews and change thing in the recipe accordingly. I doubled the cheese and the egg and added an extra cup of milk. I pre-made this in the morning baked for 15 to get the cheese melted and mixed so noodles wouldn't dry out, I covered and placed in refrigerator then baked (it took the full 30 min to heat through). This dish turned out awesome! I made 2 13x9 pans and after baking froze 1 so I'm excited to see how it does!
Pretty good,I added a little more Velveeta to make it cheesier and did not cook my noodles all the way before baking.Nice and creamy:)
This is my favorite go-to comfort meal! My entire family loves it!
Delicious! Super easy and worth the time! :)
Not my all time favorite macaroni, but it was pretty good and I got lots of compliments! texture was perfect!
This is the best homemade mac and cheese recipe I've ever had. I make this all the time and everyone loves it. For an easy meal I just add chopped ham and serve with a garden salad.
I always use Mary's Macaroni recipe. Last weekend, I took a dish of it to my daughter's home, and it won rave reviews. Try adding crushed seasoned croutons to the top before baking! Yum!
Made this for Christmas Eve - somewhat disappointed, very dry, not very cheesy - took twice as long to brown, delayed dinner by 1/2 hour - May try it again using more shredded cheese and possibly add Mozzarella so not so dry. Great concept, all in one pan - - definitely worth a second try!
this was absolutely the best mac-n- cheese ever! so creamy! i will be making this a lot. think i'll have it on thanksgiving. i have 5 grown sons and 4 grand children, they will love this.. thanx..
I always add nutmeg over the elbow layers. That gives (all) pasta the special "je ne-sais-pas-quoi". Try it in moderation and you'll love it.
