What You Need

1/4

cup butter or margarine, cut into small pieces

pkg. (16 oz.) elbow macaroni, cooked

1/2

lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

cups milk

Paprika

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

PLACE butter in bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish; cover with layers of half each of the macaroni, VELVEETA and Cheddar.

WHISK egg and milk until well blended; pour half over ingredients in baking dish. Repeat with remaining ingredients except paprika.

BAKE 15 min.; stir carefully until well blended. Bake 15 min. or until macaroni mixture is heated through and top is golden brown. Sprinkle with paprika.

I make this dish throughout the year. I don't eat Mac-n-Cheese any other way. It's delicious!

I have been making this recipe for over three years. Everyone loves it. I add a lot more cheese than the recipe shows. I am always asked how to make it.

Did not taste very cheesy. We ended up throwing most of it out because it didn't taste very good for all the calories you were consuming.

This was really creamy and good. I think the key is being sure to really stir it well (until all the velveeta melts), and I had to cook it a lot longer after stirring (about 25 minutes).

Loved it! I'm a college student so I don't have a big budget, but I love to cook for my friends. This is a classic recipe with simple ingredients and instructions. Everyone loved it!
