I am making my first Sunday Dinner for my family and I wanted something fast and easy. I made this last night to test it with the little bag of shrimp I bought. Let's just say that I have to go back and buy more shrimp. It tasted so good. It has a lot of nice contrasts between the spice of the cocktail sauce and the creaminess of the cream cheese and the crunch of the cracker. It also took the "fishy" taste away from the shrimp which was a plus.

This was so easy to make, tasted very good and looked very elegant and special on a round, glass platter. Everyone was impressed and wanted the recipe.

In one word- fabulous- made these little guys for my New Years Eve party and they were a huge hit. I used shrimp that had been pre-cooked and then frozen- I just boiled them and then put them in the fridge to cool before I used them.

We make this every holiday. Except we simply spread the 8 oz of cream cheese over a plate, cover with cocktail sauce and a drained can of tiny shrimp. Then people can spread this over the Ritz crackers.
