These are so good! My husband loves them, and he hates spinach, I can't make this enough for him.

I've made this twice this holiday season and both times it's been a hit! Once I forgot to include the green onions and it didn't seem to make a difference. The flakiness is delightful. I found I had to use more butter than indicated though, perhaps I wasn't being efficient. Be sure to slice the rolls before baking deep enough to make slicing easier when they're done (and less mess too). Highly recommend!

As a Greek, I did find this much easier than folding into triangles for Spanokopita! It helps to add at least one if not two beaten eggs to the cheese mixture. Holds them together better even with the cream cheese. I liked the idea of adding the cream cheese too however, not a fan of the onions in this. FYI: It's pronounced (Fee-lo)not (fill o).

These were well received at our social gathering.

I've made these several times now for parties and holidays. I found a few things that make this recipe much easier and tastier. First, I use puff pastry instead of phyllo dough, its much easier to work with and crisps up nice without falling apart. I also add diced water chestnuts for some crunch as well as sharp cheddar cheese to the mixture. I get requests constantly to bring this dish!

Have made this one twice. The first time I did not chill the roll-ups long enough and they flatted out when cooking. Second time I chilled them over night and they turned out perfectly. This recipe is a real winner and will be added to my Christmas Party Menu from now on!!

These were just ok to me, nothing special.

I used regular cream cheese as that's what I had on hand, but I think they would be better with the veggie cream cheese. They were actually easier to make than I thought but I think next time I will use the cups to make them even easier.
