This dessert was AWESOME!!!!!! I made it for a party and it was a huge hit! Everyone LOVED it!!! I used banana pudding instead of the vanilla and it tasted great with the strawberries. It is such a light dessert--great for any party event. I will definitely be making this again!!

Made this for a birthday party and it was a big hit. Used the "soft" ladyfingers, somtimes found at the bakery section. Also, couldn't find strawberry cool whip so I used regular and chopped some strawberries into it. Everyone loved it.

Everyone gobbled this up! I made 2, one with rum (Barcardi has a strawberry flavored rum) and one without. Both went over BIG!

Instead of using the ladyfingers, I used vanilla wafers and also used regular flavor cool whip. Absolutely delicious! I put a single layer of wafers and then just a few extras for each layer.

Got rave reviews from everyone. In fact my one friend took my recipe home with her. Found the ladyfingers in the bakery section of my local grocery store but was planning on using angel food cake if I could not find them. Used the lower fat version of cream cheese, cool whip, and fat-free sugar free pudding. This is definitely a keeper.

Good Luck Finding Ladyfingers! After gathering all other ingredients, couldn't find the ladyfingers...opted for poundcake as a substitute. Tasted like Strawberry Shortcake and was more time consuming to make. I had pudding mixture left over and after layering, it was more than my 9x13 could hold. The taste was good. Make sure your coolwhip is very very spreadable.

Loved this and it was really easy. Could not find ladyfingers or strawberry cool whip so I used the little sponge cakes and sliced them and regular cool whip. I didn't feel the chocolate added anything. I will maybe use banana pudding next time and maybe use chocolate syrup drizzled on top on an individual basis.

This was a hit at home! Will make it and take it to work and family gatherings. Couldn't find ladyfingers, so I used an angel food cake loaf and low-fat cream cheese. My family loved it!!
