I made this tonight! Decided to couple things for a heartier soup - 1 can each: corn, black beans and green chilis. Tabasco sauce is great for spicy lovers! ~Make sure to use FRESH lime juice not the pre-mixed which is typically highly concentrated. If you do make this mistake - dilute with additional chicken stock and something spicy to counteract the sweet/sour.
I would probably reduce the chipotle to just a 1/3 other wise its a bit too smokey and hot
This soup is great! The next time I make it I will use a little less lime juice though.
Love this soup! It was spicy hot the first time I made it so the second time I made it I added a bit less chipotle pepper. It was perfect. Will make again and again!
I really liked this. The first time it was a little too spicy, but the next time I removed the seeds and ribs from the peppers.
My husband and I loved this soup! I used fresh lime juice and thought the amount was just right! I also topped with cheese, sour cream adn fresh cilantro and that really added a delicious touch to the soup! Great Recipe!
This soup was so easy to make and with a dollop of sour cream and a slice of avacado, it was perfect. At first I thought that the chipotle was going to over power the soupe and be too spicy so I used 1 tbsp instead and it was delicious.

I made this last night. It was absolutely delicious. My husband loved it. I used two chipotle peppers finely chopped (make sure to take out the seeds) and I made some tortilla strips to use as a garnish.
This soup had pretty bold flavor. My husband liked it a lot, but I couldn't finish mine. It was good, but the lime flavor was a bit overpowering. And it definitely wasn't something my kids would like.
