I think this is very good, but I did add more spices to it. I have made chili several times with cocoa and also cinnamon and it is not chocolaty tasting, just makes it richer and more satisfying. I also made some the other day with a bit of brown sugar and ketchup in it also without the cocoa, and it was fabulous. So you see chili can be made anyway and still be great.
