What You Need

cup flour

cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats

1/2

tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder

1/2

tsp. baking soda

1/4

tsp. salt

1/2

cup butter, softened

1/2

cup granulated sugar

1/2

cup packed brown sugar

1/2

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

egg

1-1/2

tsp. vanilla

1-1/2

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate (6 oz.), coarsely chopped

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

MIX first 5 ingredients until well blended Beat butter, sugars and peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate.

DROP heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 1 min. on baking sheet; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

This is by far my favorite cookie. I love chocolate & peanut butter, plus the oats add a nice texture. The only tricky thing was getting the bake time/cookie size just right. I now use a 2 tbsp scooper & bake for 15 minutes in my gas oven. They're a little larger than the recipe calls for, so you might want to make a double batch.

My husband loved these cookies...because they aren't just plain chocolate chip cookies, but have the oatmeal too.

I use white baking chips instead of chocolate and everyone loves it! ew

This is a great easy quick one and so good....For Fall time I even added a few Reeses pieces for color! YUMMY!!!

These cookies are the best of all worlds. I have taken these to parties and get lots of compliments. I've had a man think I was in love with him because I gave him these cookies. I also had one proposal after giving another male "friend" a couple of these! They say a way to a man's heart.. TRY THESE COOKIES!

Fabulous cookies! Very soft and very easy to makes :) yummm, will make again! I love soft cookies so I added a little more brown sugar (3/4 cup) and a little less white sugar (1/4 cup)

Delicious! The only change I made was that I used chocolate chips instead of chunks as that's all I had on hand. Will definately make again!

We were moving and needed to get rid of some baking supplies, as well as make cookies for a party. These were a great way to use up peanut butter and oatmeal and they tasted great! I tried a recipe for these cookies, as well, from a different website, but these turned out much better. I will definitely sue this recipe from now on.

This is a family favorite. We absolutely love this cookie. I would like to suggest for anyone that likes this cookie to try it with a bit of cinnamon also. I changed my mind mid recipe about what cookies I wanted to make and there was already cinnamon in the mix...turned out great. Now I add it on purpose. The other recipe called for a teaspoon, but I'm sure I put more...I really like cinnamon. : )

These cookies are great! They were so moist and chewy. I used chocolate chips and M&M's instead of the chocolate chunks. My husband brought these to work and he said that everyone raved about them! I will definitely be making these cookies again!
