What You Need

cup flour

cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats

1/2

tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder

1/2

tsp. baking soda

1/4

tsp. salt

1/2

cup butter, softened

1/2

cup granulated sugar

1/2

cup packed brown sugar

1/2

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

egg

1-1/2

tsp. vanilla

1-1/2

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate (6 oz.), coarsely chopped

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

MIX first 5 ingredients until well blended Beat butter, sugars and peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate.

DROP heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 1 min. on baking sheet; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

i made this cookie.and i went church and they love them, i use semi-chips not chunks it came out good i will make again

Very tasty and tender, can't detect the oatmeal at all in texture but is rich in flavor. Will definitely make again!

Addictive! I added chocolate caramel swirl chips and white chocolate chips to mine. Had to bake a little longer than directed, about 15 min total, to keep cookies from falling apart once cooled (were cooked through, but crumbly). Hubby's begging for more!

I have never seen cookies disappear so quickly!! Everyone loved them!! Next time I might use walnuts as well. I also used chocolate chips instead of squares.

These cookies are fantastic! The best oatmeal cookies I've ever made! I would definitely make them again! I just used milk chocolate chips instead of the Bakers chocolate.

I loved this recipe! I decided to make this as a cookie bar also and let it cool completely before cutting, sorry to say it didn't last very long. Best oatmeal cookie I've made so far.
