What You Need

cup flour

cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats

1/2

tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder

1/2

tsp. baking soda

1/4

tsp. salt

1/2

cup butter, softened

1/2

cup granulated sugar

1/2

cup packed brown sugar

1/2

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

egg

1-1/2

tsp. vanilla

1-1/2

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate (6 oz.), coarsely chopped

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

MIX first 5 ingredients until well blended Beat butter, sugars and peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate.

DROP heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 1 min. on baking sheet; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

reaaaaaaaaally good. u kind of have to adjust the cooking time tho for a shorter amount of time.

These were very good, but not the best cookie I have had. I was hoping for more intense flavor.

Just too much going on with the cookie, if you like oatmeal cookies you won't like this.

I was not crazy about this recipe, they turned out too crispy for my liking(10 minutes seemed too long in the oven, my were very brown on bottom). I'll stick to the Peanut Butter Chip Cookie recipe from Taste of Home, they recommend 7-9 minutes at 375 degrees, they taste better, too.

this recipe was GREAT!!! my kids and whole family LOVED it they made me make them again and again..thanks soooo much...they call them heaven cookies..lol

I need to give this WAY MORE than 5 stars!!! These are THE BEST COOKIES I HAVE EVER HAD. I doubled the batch for a Christmas cookie exchange for nursing school and they were gone in about 5 minutes. Everyone came to class today asking me for the recipe. I LOVED these!
