What You Need

cup flour

cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats

1/2

tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder

1/2

tsp. baking soda

1/4

tsp. salt

1/2

cup butter, softened

1/2

cup granulated sugar

1/2

cup packed brown sugar

1/2

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

egg

1-1/2

tsp. vanilla

1-1/2

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate (6 oz.), coarsely chopped

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

MIX first 5 ingredients until well blended Beat butter, sugars and peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate.

DROP heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 1 min. on baking sheet; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

I generally have an aversion to cookie recipes with peanut butter in it, but this one is great! The flavors are all very even and I used chocolate chunks and added some pecan pieces because I just love cookies with any kind of pecans or walnuts. I will definately make this again. :)

These are easy to make and they are soooo good. Everyone loves them. They bake up nice and fluffy and soft. They don't flaten out. You gotta try it for yourself!

This is the BEST cookie recipe, ever!! I made mine with half white chocolate chips and half mini-chips. Makes a small batch, so I would double.
