What You Need

cup flour

cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats

1/2

tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder

1/2

tsp. baking soda

1/4

tsp. salt

1/2

cup butter, softened

1/2

cup granulated sugar

1/2

cup packed brown sugar

1/2

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

egg

1-1/2

tsp. vanilla

1-1/2

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate (6 oz.), coarsely chopped

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

MIX first 5 ingredients until well blended Beat butter, sugars and peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate.

DROP heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 1 min. on baking sheet; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

A family favorite around here. I have made these so many times, and I have never had a bad batch ! I usually make them a little smaller than average size for cookies, and they are a perfect one bite snack ! I also use 1/2 bag of chocolate chips rather than the squares. They are just a perfect blend of ingredients !!!

These cookies are so yummy! Don't be scared if the dough looks a little dry; the cookies bake just fine (though I did only leave them in the over for 8 minutes instead of 10 - 12).

This recipe is great. I have tried several chocolate chip recipes, but I like this one best if all. The cookie is soft and moist and makes several. This is the only recipe I will use from now on

Delicious! What's not to love? Peanut butter, oatmeal, brown sugar, chocolate chunks...and with a glass of cold milk...DELICIOUS!

I made these cookies for family that was visiting and they were so good I made more yesterday. Much softer than the regular chocolate chip cookies.

THESE COOKIES WERE VERY GOOD, EASY TO MAKE AND GOT RAVE REVIEWS AT CHURCH WHERE I SERVED THEM AT COFFEE TIME. WAS ASKED FOR THE RECIPE BY SEVERAL PEOPLE. I DID SUBSTITUTE A BAG OF SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS FOR THE CHOPPED CHOCOLATE. I DIDN'T HAVE THE CHUNKED CHOCOLATE IN THE HOUSE.
