Citrus Crunch Chicken

Citrus Crunch Chicken recipe
We call this Citrus Crunch Chicken, but with a lemon, a lime and an orange adding plenty of zesty punch, it could actually be Triple Citrus Crunch.

My husband and I loved this recipe! I added a bit of crushed, drained pineapple, which toned down the lime flavor. Overall, it was a great mix and a big hit! We loved how tender it made the chicken.

Yuck. No one in my house liked this recipe. the citrus was too much for the chicken flavor.

My family loved it. Even my picky teen LOVED it and kept saying Mmmm Mmmmm while he was eating! We liked the citrus under the chicken. I wouldn't change a thing.

I took the advice of a previous comment- I juiced the fruit and dipped the chicken in it before coating it with the Shake n Bake. I would suggest not putting the fruit slices on the bottom...it made that side of the chicken mushy. Overall a very delicious meal!!!

I think that the fruit in the bottom of the pan needs to be eliminated completely. Although it would be kind of a waste, I really think all you need is the rind grated into the shake n' bake. With the fruit pieces, it is WAY TOO citrusy. Overpowering. Just have your family eat the remaining fruit for lunch the next day.
