Citrus Crunch Chicken recipe
We call this Citrus Crunch Chicken, but with a lemon, a lime and an orange adding plenty of zesty punch, it could actually be Triple Citrus Crunch.

Tried this out on company and everyone gave it two thumbs up. Very tasty and moist. I think the prep took about 10 - 15 minutes, not 5, as zesting and slicing the fruit takes a bit of time. For a hurried weeknight, maybe do the zesting and slicing ahead of time. I did tenderize my chicken so all pieces were a more even thickness. Make sure you don't store any leftovers (in case you make extra) on the fruit slices. Gets kind of bitter tasting. My extras reheated easily and were almost as good as the first time around.

I don't like Shake and Bake, so used crushed corn flakes and seasonings. My family loved it! Tangy and delicious

Light & tasty. Used egg substitute with garlic powder as dip. Used crushed cornflake crumbs with seasoning salt.

This chicken came out very bitter because of the citrus slices and did not have much "good" flavor. I will not make it again and did not enjoy it at all.

I am not a fan of Shake and Bake. I think that if I had jjust used seasoned bread crumbs I might have liked it better. There are so many good chicken recipes that i won"t make it again. If I want citrus with Chicken I will just garnish with some orange slices

I thought the citrus was too strong and made the chicken soggy on bottom. I also added a little cajun seasoning for some spice. The next time I make it I will leave out the citrus slices. The zest is enough.

It was okay. Don't think I'll make it again.
