Tasted similar to the paninis at Panera Bread Co., and it makes a great meal on the run. I used a George Foreman grill--it worked perfectly. Definitely recommended!!

Substitued cooked "Turkey" bacon for the ham and added slices of "bread & butter" pickles! Grilled it on a George Forman grill -- excellent sandwich! Makes a wonderful quick meal with cole slaw and a cup of "fat-free" yogurt for dessert.

I now LOVE making grilled cheese sandwiches!! They used to be so boring, but now with just using sourdough, and adding the mayo and tomato it's awesome. I use real mayo too, not the fake stuff. I make this almost every day, and my son loves it too. Really good with some pickles thrown on the side :-)
