what you need

lb. ground beef

1-1/2

cups KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/2

cup plain dry bread crumbs

1/4

cup milk

1/4

cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa

egg, lightly beaten

clove garlic, minced

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Mix all ingredients until well blended.

SHAPE into loaf in 9x5-inch loaf pan.

BAKE 1 hour or until center is no longer pink. Remove from oven. Let stand 3 minutes before removing from pan. Cut into slices to serve.

Prepare as directed, using extra lean ground beef and KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese to save 70 calories, 11g of fat and 5g of saturated fat per serving.

Substitute

Prepare as directed, substituting BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce for the salsa.

Keeping It Safe

Cook meatloaf until meat thermometer inserted into center of loaf registers 160°F and meatloaf is no longer pink in center.

Made this for sunday dinner with jazzy mashed potatoes. everyone loved. i also added a little more taco bell salsa and a few tablespoons of oats. will be sure to make this again.

This is the best meatloaf we have ever had. It works well in a hurry if you make mini meatloafs in your muffin pan. Just cook for 30min.

This was pretty good. I also added 1/2 pkt. of taco seasoning to the meat for added flavor and I used about 1/2 cup more salsa than the recipe called for. My husband (the chef!) loved it.

I used the oatmeal instead of the bread crumbs and definitely impressed my husband with this meal!!!

I used Turkey and wheat germ and oatmeal in place of bread crumbs. I also added some salt and pepper, and tabasco as a previous reviewer suggested. So easy and quick to get in the oven. Delicious. If you are watching carbs, just use some oatmeal and 99% fat Free Turkey and it's really healthy.

This is the easiest meatloaf recipie I have ever tried! I use mozzarella cheese or PepperJack cheese. I normally don't like or make meatloaf, but this is great.

I MADE THIS EARLY IN THE AM AND REFRIGERATED IT UNTIL THE GUYS CAME HOME TO BAKE. THEY LIKED IT MUCH BUT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN BAKED IMMEDIATELY AS THE CRUST BECAME SOGGY PROBABLY FROM SITTING TO LONG WILL MAKE AGAIN

This was a nice alternative to "meatloaf". My kids really enjoyed it!! It was fairly moist and had a good overall flavor.

Excellent meat loaf. I tried using Bulls Eye Bbq Sauce, the flavor was great. Next time I make it I will try using salsa.
