Ultimate 7-Layer Dip

Ultimate 7-Layer Dip recipe
Sure, we could have gone with six, but at what cost? Lose the sour cream, or the zesty salsa, or the shredded cheese or….No. Seven layers. Get a little in each bite.

Wonderful! I made this for my husband to take to work for a holiday treat day. I made a small sample dish for us to try, I wouldn't have let him take it if we didn't like it! It was wonderful. The flavors reminded us of a taco salad. I didn't know there was more than one kind of Mexican Cheese but I went with the taco seasoned variety and that worked very well. Wonderful blend of flavors! I can't wait for him to get home and have that empty dish with him because I am sure it was a hit.

I have had a bean dip recipe that I have used for years. I have never put salsa or lettuce on mine. This was a very nice change. I took this to a party with tortilla chips and was gone in no time at all. I will double the recipe next time.

excellent for those watching their weight. replace all ingredients with fat free or low fat counterparts and serve with low fat tortilla chips. yummy!
