Ultimate 7-Layer Dip

Ultimate 7-Layer Dip recipe
Sure, we could have gone with six, but at what cost? Lose the sour cream, or the zesty salsa, or the shredded cheese or….No. Seven layers. Get a little in each bite.

I have made this recipe for years --only omitting the lettuce. We also add 8 oz of cream cheese on the bottom, and use Vidalia onion diced instead of green onion. It is always a hit and you never have to worry about bringing any home--it's never left over!!

I've made this twice so far, and both times, everyone scarfed this down. I had to convince them to stop eating it so we could have the main course. Definitely a must-have for parties.

Of course it alters the nutritional value, but I make this using more taco seasoning, more sour cream, Rotel instead of salsa, omit the lettuce, & I use an entire small can of slice black olives. We also eat this dip with Bite Size Tostitos for more flavor and crunch. This is a favorite with family and guests!!!

I added in cream cheese with the sour cream (blended together) and spread this on the bottom first. My family loves this !!!
