Ultimate 7-Layer Dip recipe

Sure, we could have gone with six, but at what cost? Lose the sour cream, or the zesty salsa, or the shredded cheese or….No. Seven layers. Get a little in each bite.

This is so easy to make. My friends thought I spent a great deal of time making it. When they found out how easy it was they wanted a copy of the recipe. I doubled the recipe for a party. It was wonderful.

The coolness of the toppings pair well with the warm refried beans. It's great served cold, or with warm refried beans. Goes especially well with guacamole flavored nachos!

I make this anytime I have to bring a dish. I don't use the green onions because not everyone likes onions and I use some kind of tortilla chip instead. Everyone seems to love it.

I added ground beef with the taco mix and layered it according. My family liked it better with the ground beef in it.

This was a great dip that went over very well at my women's meeting. As I prepared it I was already thinking of ways to add my own touch. I think this recipe would be even better with grilled chicken or taco beef as one of the layers. You could also add guacomole with or instead of the sour cream. Of course, if you did that it couldn't be called " Ultimate 7 Layer Dip" anymore!

When I prepared this dip my family and friends were asking me to prepare this recipe for them about every weekend. They loved it and I thought it was very easy to prepare.
