I made a double batch for a superbowl party. Served with chips. NOTHING WAS LEFT!!! I will make this again and again.

I MADE THIS FOR OUR SUPERBOWL PARTY. EASY TO MAKE AND LOVED BY ALL. I GAVE THE RECIPE TO 2 OTHERS. THE PLATE WAS TOTALLY CLEAN!!!!

It"s me again.. I forgot to say that I added fresh avacado and lime juice.. circled the whole thing with no-salt tortilla chips....it looked like a big beautiful flower

I made my own version of this dip years ago.Layer refried beans,avacado dip,cottage cheese(drained completely) mix in taco dry powder with the cottage cheese.( not in the beans ) can add sour cream to the cottage cheese if you like. Shredded cheese, green onions,olives,tomatoes,green chiles or any other topping you like

This has been a favorite family get-together recipe for us for years. My sister started making it first and we all loved it. Now it's a favorite and very rarely do we have a get-together without it.

I substituted the green onions with chopped red onion. It was excellent!

THIS DIP IS ALWAYS A HIT! We like ours with a lot of SNAP so I add chopped jalapenos to the refried beans and also add a layer of guacamole. You can find the refried beans with jalapeno already added if you don't want to chop up chilies.

Great...easy...quick...Made it for a family get together and it was awesome and authentic. With two little ones the make ahead feature was perfect.
