Ultimate 7-Layer Dip

Ultimate 7-Layer Dip recipe
Sure, we could have gone with six, but at what cost? Lose the sour cream, or the zesty salsa, or the shredded cheese or….No. Seven layers. Get a little in each bite.

Thank you. I made this recipe last night for a party tonight. I did it the exact way in layering it except I think I didn't leave the edges like you said. Next time I will. Can't wait to see how it tastes Thanks again.

I have had this dip and it is very good. In response to the question, how to layer the ingredients. Just layer everything in the order given. After the beans are spread on the bottom, layer the sour cream, then the salsa, etc. Leave a little edge showing for each of the ingredients. That is, so you can see an edging of the beans, the white of the sour cream, the red of the salsa, etc. And keep it in a shallow dish as shown. We had someone make it in a very deep dish & they doubled the receipe but it wasn't easy to get all the ingredients in one dip of a chip/cracker.

Great and very easy recipe. I added jalapenos to the beans and taco seasoning. It was a big hit.

My family LOVES this recipe. I usually double it for cookouts and put it in a punchbowl layered. It looks great and is always the first thing gone at pitch-ins!!! So easy even the kids can make it. In a word: YUMMY!!!

I make this all the time for get togethers, and it is always a hit!! I usually double it, and put it in a 10x13 casserole, and there is rarely any leftover! Great appetizer!!

Made this for a party when I needed something in a hurry. Very well liked by all!

So tasty and easy to modify! I've made it over and over--from Super Bowl snack to family dinner to potluck at work. Perfect dip!

This dip was excellent! I doubled the recipe and made it in a 9x13 pan. I used fat free refried beans and fat free sour cream to make it a bit more health-conscious (and nobody could tell). I served it with scoops. People seemed to really enjoy it and I will definitely make it again!

Someone else usually makes a taco dip for the family parties, but I said I would make it this time and I went to my recipe box and made this recipe. There were raves from everyone and the platter was scraped clean. My son was upset because he only had a little and then it was gone. I promised to make it this weekend for our Mother's Day party, but a double batch this time.

Made it again for Cinco de Mayo and it was a big hit. The dish was empty! Very yummy!
