Easy Spring Pie

What You Need

1-1/2

cups boiling water

pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Gelatin, any flavor

Ice cubes

1/2

cup cold water

HONEY MAID Graham Pie Crust (6 oz.)

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Make It

STIR boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice cubes to cold water to measure 1-1/2 cups. Add to gelatin; stir until ice is completely melted. Remove 2 cups of the gelatin; place in small bowl. Refrigerate 5 min. or until gelatin is the consistency of unbeaten egg whites. Carefully spoon into crust. Refrigerate 10 min.

MEANWHILE, add 2 cups of the whipped topping to remaining gelatin; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Refrigerate 10 min. or until mixture is thick and will mound. Carefully spoon over gelatin layer in crust.

REFRIGERATE at least 3 hours or until firm. Serve topped with the remaining whipped topping. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.

I've made this but I changed it a bit. I mix all of the Jello with the coolwhip and put it in the pie shell. I've also used several different flavors of Jello. If you like orange creamsicles try this recipe with orange Jello.

Great Pie. I made it for Easter Dinner, for the past two years. Everybody loves it, and asks for again every year. It has become a staple at Easter Dinner. I made it with the lime jello, and they told me not to make with any other favor. I had tried cherry jello. They wanted the lime jello.

it was delicious, i made it with sugar free raspberry jello and lite cool whip. there were 6 of us and everyone loved it not one piece left over.

I make this recipe for every holiday, my father in law loves it. We use peach jello. I have also done two different pies and changed the flavor like cherry and lime for christmas, so you get two flavors in one pie.

Very delicious, I made it with the lime jello, and it was very tart, so i added red sugar to some of the left over cool whip, put it in the microwave for 30 seconds, and then poured it on top of the pie and swirled it around. It looked nice (very christmasy, which was good since it was a christmas present), and it cut down some of the tartness. Very easy!

All I can say is Yum!! I used pineapple jello but I can't wait to try it with strawberry jello and strawberry Cool Whip!
