Absolutely delicious. Could previous poster rwck have made muffins with baking soda instead of baking powder?

I followed this recipe exactly except I added a teaspoon of vanilla extract. I am very angry and very disappointed in how this recipe turned out, especially after spending two hours to prepare it. Kraft should remove this recipe from it's website. It smelled and tasted absolutely terrible...like a combination of baking soda and dog breath, and they instruct you to sprinkle the remaining cookie pieces on the tops of the muffins and they were burnt black when I took them out of the oven. I am very, very disappointed in this recipe, it sounded delicious but it ended in disaster and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I kicked up this recipe by using extremely over ripened bananas.

my kids ate these up before they were completely cooled. A great recipe that didn't make me feel guilty about my children eating cookies
