To smear away calories you can make your own angel food cake with a sugar subsitute.

This was so easy to put together, looks pretty & taste good. I put this cake on a pretty plate to serve & it looked elegant for the dinner party I had to get ready for very quickly. I will make this one again as it has all the things I like.

This cake is very tasty, however it is difficult to acheive the desired "flower" look as shown in the pictured example. The "petals" were difficult to keep upright and because of this it was hard to get the strawberries in the middle.

To K1K2K3, I dont think a pound cake will hold the shape of a flower. You need the spongy texture of the angel food cake.

This cake is cute and tasty! However, I'm not too fond of angel food cake, so I will probably use a pound cake next time.

I made it for easter dessert. Everyone really liked it. It was kinda hard pulling the cake apart and then putting the stawberries in there b/c the cake wanted keep splitting apart. Had to make it at my in-laws house b/c i was afraid if i moved it then it might fall apart.

My Sister-in-law brought this cake for Easter and it was a huge hit! The kids thought it was cool because it looked like a flower and the adults are all on Weight Watchers and loved it because it was only like 3 points per serving. Tip: If you have to take it somewhere, put it in a cake carrier separately from the strawberries and cut it after you get there.
