Grilled "Baked" Potatoes

Grilled "Baked" Potatoes recipe
We'll admit it, we can't stand the heat. So we're taking baked potatoes out of the kitchen for the summer, with fluffy insides and skins so crisp you'll never miss the oven.

Best "baked"potatoes ever!

These were decent, but nothing to rave about. I usually just "bake" mine in the microwave because it's much quicker. Putting them on the grill did make the skins crispy, but for my taste, it's not worth the extra step. Toppings were great, but I think I would have liked it just as well with the potatoes cooked only in the microwave.

This is one of my favorite potato recipes. I use smaller red potatoes (for portion control) and I sprinkle the potatoes with sea salt after rubbing them with the oil. Simple but delicious!

This is so smart.Save's time and the taste is great. I'll be doing this from now on with my backed potatoes. Thanks

Great way to prepare Sweet Potatoes too! I pre-cook them in the microwave, then wrap in foil and put on the grill. (length of time will depend on size of potato - you can cut them into chucks too!) Wonderful way to prepare them before hand to go out for a family gathering or picnic. Season with a little cinnamon/sugar with butter if desired (though some pototoes don't need anything added)!

Making tonight again, a staple for us in the warmer months...I prefer it a bit healthier, skipping the bacon bits and going easier on the sour cream and cheese. Tastes very good also with just some Kraft grated parmesan on top.

These taste like the baked potatoes that are served in a restaurant that I LOVE! The salt adds so much flavor and the time saving use of the microwave makes these an easy addition to any meal (or sometimes I just have one for lunch)
